Marine Order 504 now requires you take fatigue seriously.

In Australia's maritime industry, managing fatigue on commercial vessels is paramount for safety and operational efficiency. Recognizing this, the revised Marine Order 504 (MO504) now mandates that most commercial vessels implement a Fatigue Risk Management Plan (FRMP).
This plan must clearly outline the strategies and procedures used to identify, assess, and mitigate fatigue risks onboard. Compliance with MO504 and the development of a robust FRMP are crucial for vessel owners and operators.

If you're unsure how to develop an effective FRMP or need assistance in navigating the complexities of MO504, our office can provide expert guidance and support, drawing on our existing experience in creating FRMPs for various clients.

Taking fatigue seriously is no longer a suggestion, it's a legal requirement with demonstrable benefits for everyone involved.
