“Culture of Compliance”
with the clients we have worked with.
Wayne Linklater – Principal
Wayne has spent his entire life in the maritime industry. Starting as boat builder at 12 years old! He’s owned boat building companies, co-op’s even a Seafood Restaurant. Wayne has also managed several WHS for dynamic global companies to ensure compliance and safety at the forefront.
Being a boat enthusiast himself, he also specialises in recreational vessels spending most of his holidays onboard a vessel.
Charmayne Linklater – Co-Principal
Charmayne is a very proud lady in the maritime industry also spending the majority of her life on, in and around boats. You could say she was born into it, with her Dad owning a trawler on the Hawkesbury River. Once meeting Wayne, she has also been working offshore, providing support and management to commercial and recreational owners.
Tracey McManus – Administration
Tracey joined Shorlink in the early days of the COVID epidemic. Having worked for a major Australian Bank and European Film Studio, Tracey quickly understood the importance of safety, education and compliance. Her eye to detail ensures that our service/s are provided with the upmost attention and diligence.
Whilst she does get sea sick, Tracey has embraced the marine industry with vigor and is our friendly voice when you contact our office.
Lindsay Hutton – Training
Lindsay is our latest recruit to join Shorlink in 2021. Lindsay also has many years in the boating industry and has exceptional training experience, knowledge and qualifications. Lindsay has Captained and provided training on more voyages than Captain Merrill Stubing on the Love Boat.
His training approach is one of the best in our industry (according to our clients).
