Words from a few clients…
Thank you for the valuable contribution you made to our business. You joined the business when we were at a crossroads with decisions to be made as to the next step.
You gave what you promised – a hands on approach to production management plus an in-house business consultant. And, as promised you performed both roles extraordinarily well.
As a hands on Production Manager you bought efficiency improvements. As a Business Consultant you got a handle on past performance and future potential.
You contributed a combination of skills that are very hard to find – very broad knowledge base, hands on experience, strong work ethic and business analytical skills.
We were very satisfied with your services.
– Jill Ferguson – General Manager – Inflatable RIBS Marine
Wayne was originally engaged as Operations Manager although a more accurate description would be as a business coach.
Wayne’s first week was spent in the workshop to get a hands on fertilisation of the day to day running of the business. This resulted with in-depth discussions and direction of new work flow management including routine and paper trails to rectify stock loss and un-billed hours being implemented.
During this time it became far more obvious that Wayne had far more to offer the company.
It was decided to concentrate on marketing which had been previously ignored, more concise financial recording and targeting fully structured work flow procedures.
Within a relatively short time we had a fully functional web site, printed and soft copy brochures, company presentable CD’s, direct mailing and upgraded the visual presentation of the premises.
When dealing with the financial and business aspects of the company Wayne bought added expertise with other methodologies to crucial areas of the business. These in turn allowed a far more controlled yet flexible growth plan for the company enabling our ability to achieve company targets and still react in a timely manner to actual work-flow constrictions.
As with most companies with directors from vastly different areas of expertise and being in a very “trade” orientated industry the “us and them” mentality is normal to exist. Wayne has the personality and people skills to bridge this divide and the result is a company that can reach its goals.

Like to enjoy this level of service in your business…
I write in confirmation to Wayne Linklater and confirm we have used the services performed by Wayne.
During this time Wayne has performed Survey Valuation reports on both pleasure craft and commercial vessels including fishing vessels.
Wayne’s attention to detail when both inspecting a vessel and the subsequent reports have been excellent and in fact a number of surveyors have modelled their reports on Wayne’s principals.
We have no hesitation in recommending Wayne to our customers.
– Damian Pugh – Manager Commercial Fishing – Club Marine Limited
I am very happy with the training and the way in which Wayne has conducted himself. Especially with our Indonesian and Phillipino crew.
– Ben, Walker Seafoods
A strong feature of the way you operate is the courtesy you offer, it starts from the top and is evident right through to all of the men on your workshop floor; I always enjoyed my frequent visits for this very reason.
Finally I would like to say a special thank you for the quality of workmanship, particularly since you took great pains to explain and show me through the projects at each stage where it might have been far easier (and less ethical) to do a lesser job and cover it up before I could take a look.
Wayne, you should be proud of the business you are running there; as a customer it has left me feeling very satisfied indeed.
